Advanced training and research at IMT Lucca Institute for Advanced Studies are fully integrated thanks to the high quality of its services and underlying scientific infrastructure.

IMT's library is of the highest international standard. A broad range of books and reviews in both hard copy and electronic format is available.

Students with scholarships (currently more than 50%) also benefit free of charge accommodation in private apartments in the city center, while the entire community (students and Faculty) has free access to the schools' canteen.

Students are provided with their own on-line workstation and with the availability of advanced computing facilities.
A new 5 minutes' walk modern residence from the main campus is under construction and will be completed by 2008.

All IMT structures are located in the historical center of Lucca and make up an integrated campus for advanced studies and research.
