The construction of IMT as a Institute for Advanced Studies is enhanced by the creation of the IMT Lab, a technological and organizational platform, which exploits the complementarity between the Institute’s distinctive capabilities in global computing, text and data mining, integration and management of heterogeneous knowledge bases and towards applied research. It aims at integrating a rich set of macro and micro data mapping onto multiple domains and dimensions, where analytical and simulative solutions can be developed and shared. IMT Lab is a dedicated hands-on learning space for IMT Fellows and Ph.D. students.
